Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Styrae mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. About Styrae

Styrae is an AI-powered wardrobe management and outfit styling service operated from Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The Service allows users to build a digital wardrobe, save outfits, receive weather-aware outfit suggestions, chat with an AI stylist, generate AI-enhanced clothing images, create virtual try-on images, manage subscriptions and consumable credit packs, and join the website waitlist.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age required to enter into a binding agreement and consent to the processing of your personal data in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. Styrae is not intended for children.

4. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity performed through it.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating or updating your account.
  • You may sign in using supported authentication methods, including email-based authentication and Google sign-in.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
  • You can permanently delete your account from the App settings.

5. User Content

  • You retain ownership of the photos, wardrobe information, messages, and other content you submit to Styrae.
  • You grant Styrae a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, transmit, display, and create service outputs from your content only as needed to provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
  • You must have the necessary rights and consent before uploading any image, including a photo of another person.
  • You must not submit illegal, harmful, abusive, infringing, or deceptive content.
  • Styrae does not sell your wardrobe photos or personal data.

6. AI Features

Styrae uses third-party services to provide AI features. Current integrations include:

  • OpenRouter for AI model access and routing.
  • `meta-llama/llama-3.2-11b-vision-instruct` for clothing image analysis and wardrobe metadata suggestions.
  • `qwen/qwen3-235b-a22b-2507` for AI stylist chat and Today's Edit suggestions.
  • `x-ai/grok-imagine-image-quality` for Prettify and virtual try-on image generation.
  • PhotoRoom for clothing-image background removal.

AI integrations and models may change as the Service evolves. Uploaded images, selected outfit images, wardrobe context, chat messages, and weather context may be sent to these providers when you actively use the relevant feature.

AI-generated suggestions and images are approximations. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Virtual try-on images do not guarantee how an outfit will fit or appear in real life. You should use your own judgment before relying on any AI-generated output.

If you believe an AI-generated response or image is offensive, unsafe, misleading, or inappropriate, you can report it from within the App.

7. Subscriptions, Credit Packs, and Payments

  • Styrae offers free features, an auto-renewing Pro subscription, and consumable credit packs for supported features such as virtual try-on and Prettify.
  • Prices, billing periods, included benefits, and applicable taxes are displayed in the App or by the applicable app marketplace before purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the applicable app marketplace before the renewal date.
  • Consumable credit packs may be purchased more than once. Credits are applied to the supported Styrae feature after a completed purchase is confirmed.
  • Purchases, cancellations, and refund requests are handled under the rules of the applicable app marketplace. Styrae does not directly collect or store your payment-card details.
  • We may change pricing, available plans, or included benefits. Any changes will be presented as required by the applicable marketplace and applicable law.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
  • Upload images or other content without the required rights or consent.
  • Attempt to bypass subscription, credit, account, security, or usage limits.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scraping methods to access the Service without written permission.
  • Misuse AI-generated images to impersonate, deceive, harass, or harm another person.

9. Intellectual Property

The Styrae name, logo, design, software, and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to Styrae. Except for your own content, you may not copy, distribute, modify, or use Service materials without written permission.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Clerk, Convex, OpenRouter, PhotoRoom, WeatherAPI.com, RevenueCat, Expo, Google Play services, and Vercel. Their availability and processing practices are governed by their own terms and policies. Styrae is not responsible for third-party outages or changes outside its reasonable control.

11. Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service.
  • Styling suggestions, weather-aware recommendations, clothing analysis, Prettify images, and virtual try-on images are informational and experimental outputs, not professional advice or guarantees.
  • You are responsible for keeping your own backup copies of content that is important to you.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Styrae will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice where required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Service after an update means that you accept the revised Terms.
